New MCO Members - Screening and How to Join
The orchestra has openings in all string sections and is also in need of a timpanist/percussionist. We will also be screening ALL instruments for future available positions and for those to be placed on our substitute list. These substitutes are used often throughout the season to cover absences for rehearsals and concerts as needed.
Screenings will take place from 5:30 - 8PM on Monday August 25th in the Midland High School Band Room.
The screening will consist of a three-octave scale (when possible) and a piece of your choice that is no longer than 3 minutes. Some musicians will be asked to sight a read.
